1Does the TeleEEG service cost money?
The service is entirely free. We will install donated EEG equipment and train your staff. However, with time you will need supplies of peripherals such as electrode paste. We encourage these to be sourced locally.
2Do I need specialist staff?
We will train two of your nurses to apply EEG electrodes and carry out a routine 20 minute EEG recordings. The staff do not have to be specialists in neurophysiology but they do have to be dedicated and enthusiastic.
3Do I need a special room for the EEQ equipment?
A dedicated EEG room is best as the equipment should not be moved around once installed. The room needs to have mains power. Ideally the EEG equipment should have on site access to the internet although off site access can work.
