The 40 million people suffering undiagnosed epilepsy while living in poverty worldwide are those most urgently in need of medical intervention as they are in the ‘Epilepsy Treatment Gap‘.
If represented as a country, in numbers their populace would size as the 27th largest country in the world. For these people the Epilepsy Treatment Gap creates lack of access to basic devices and skilled medics.
When diagnosed with an EEG machine (our highly specialist medical volunteers – a virtual global team – who all diagnose epilepsy free of charge ) and treated (with medication gifted by partners that costs just $3.50 per person month per person) 70% can go on to lead seizure-free lives, instead of being hurt, chained, victimised, outcast, abused or killed.
Our hope is that you will support us and help convey this global health message so all those who can will get involved.
