We hope you will join us in congratulating our colleague Anne Clarke, a specialist clinical physiologist within neurophysiology working in Truro NHS Hospital for the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust, who has today been awarded ‘Physiologist of the Year’ by AMBU UK. Anne has been specially commended for her ‘faultless service in Truro‘ and for being ‘a major contributor to the charity TeleEEG‘.
Anne is a trustee of TeleEEG. and was instrumental in proving the pilot project for TeleEEG in the UK, helping take it first to Nepal in 2011 and subsequently on to 51 clinics in 19 countries. Still today she is actively volunteering and supporting technicians, doctors and clinics in the UK and overseas.
The AMBU award was issued along with a generous prize gift which, true to form, Anne has opted to donate via TeleEEG to help support clinics in low income countries with much needed items for patients with epilepsy. Well done Anne and thank you for your continued contribution and dedication.
